What are “mini sessions”?

Well, in nutshell, a mini session is a photography session that typically lasts 15-20 minutes and is offered at a reduced price. These sessions take place at a pre-determined location.

It’s the perfect way for new clients to get a taste of my photography style. My goal is to keep it simple and get as many posed and natural looking shots as possible. This is the perfect time to get some good quality professional images of your family, little ones, tweens or high schoolers that will “refresh” the pictures you currently have hanging on your walls.

How does a mini-session differ from a full session?

My full sessions usually last around 40-60 min at a location of your choice and are $400. The location of mini-sessions are decided by me and last 15-20 min.  Also during full sessions I usually allow for wardrobe changes, where as a mini-session does not.  The other big difference is the amount of images you receive. With a full session you are guaranteed at least 40 images with a mini you will receive 15 digital images.

Can you book 2 mini-sessions back-to-back?

Sure!  If you have a large family (more than 5 members) I strongly suggest this as an option. 


Mini-sessions are $200.00 and a 25% deposit ($50) it required at time of booking. The remaining payment is due at the beginning of your session.  Cash or e-transfer to sukhi.k.ghuman@gmail.com (No plastic please).

What if it’s raining on October 15 or October 21?

Being that we live in Raincouver, there’s a chance it may rain. Unless is a torrential downpour, we will go ahead with our bookings.

When will I receive my photos?

Please allow for 2-3 weeks to edit the photos from your session. Once the photo’s have been edited and are ready for delivery, you will receive an drop box link where you will be able to download the hi-res images straight to your computer. You have full permission to print the images. You will have 1 week to download  your images.

What do I/we wear?

Comfortable clothes with textures and layers are great. Layers are also great incase it’s a little chilly. Colours: Since it’s Fall I’d recommend sticking to cool tones such as navy blues, greys, browns, off whites or maroons. Wearing denim is also a great option. Please try to stay away from busy patterns or logos and stick with solid colours.

How do I reserve our session?

If you haven’t already, contact info@sukhighuman.ca Sessions are booked on a first come, first serve basis. A 25% or $50 non-refundable retainer is due at time of booking in order to reserve your spot. Remaining $150 is due on your session day and can be paid via cash or e-transfer. E-transfers to sukhi.k.ghuman@gmail.com .

Where will my photos be posted?

If you’re okay with it, your photos will be posted on my:

Location Info:

You will receive info about location 10 days prior to session.

Day of info:

Arrive 15 minutes prior to your start time to let little ones run around a bit before we get started.

Who is Sukhi Ghuman Photography?

I am a professional lifestyle photographer, working in Vancouver for nearly 6 years.
